Naïve Art
Museum
| A collection of more than a hundred paintings, which is not an exhaustive reflection of Naïve art in France. More modestly, this collection represents an obstinate search of Jacques Yankel. He is passionately fond of this art which is not very well known today. Thanks to this collection, this museum is one of the biggest Naïve Art museums in France. There are only a few ten kilometres between Noyers, Dicy and Laduz, where Naïve Art, Popular art and Fruste art are respectively represented. People who are fond of spontaneous arts have to go there. |
Open time :
June, July, August, September : daily from 11 a.m. to 6.30 p.m..
From October to the end of May : on weekends from 2.30 to 6.30 p.m.

Schematism House
| On the " place
de l’Hotel de Ville ", a house everybody can see : the yellow
house. A beautiful building (fifteenth century) with an arch in its
frontage. Come in and you will be standing in the first schematism museum,
in the middle of an advanced move. In this original school, Jacques Caux,
Jean-Charles Gaudy, Luciano Lattanzi and Robert Estival want to build a
language based on graphic diagrams, just like interactions in electronic
connections networks.
A very beautiful house to discover in the heart of Noyers. |
Open from the first of April to the 31th October, every afternoon from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Contemporary Art Gallery
To the end of September : open everyday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
| Closed for two years, the
contemporary art center reopened last year with a Daniel Humair’
exhibition. He is a jazz-player and a painter too.
A very beautiful exhibition called "resonances". A look over 35 years of creation, where masks from Sierra Leone or Niger are playing with the painter’s shapes and colours. He is a world-famed jazz-player and a talented painter too. He is playing with shapes as well as he does with music notes. An elegant painting which is not easy to "surround" or "manipulate". |
As a perfect artist, Daniel Humair shows through this unique exhibition, that music and painting cannot be dissociated from each other. Through his passions, he feeds on all influences. "I’m painting as I’m playing music, with the same interest, with the same professionalism, with the same delight."
